Today's delivery is brought to you by CLU. So, full disclosure; the Daily 2% feature was a staple here for a long time but, as of late, there has been major slacking on my part. But, once I heard CLU's new-ish single "MOOD2098", I knew it was the exact time to resurrect the feature and try to bring some awareness to one of the best tracks I've heard in quite some time. This dublin electronic duo have unleashed an audio experience that is able to effortlessly weave the unpredictable nature of future beats while simultaneously bathing the listener in lushful "safety" bass. It's almost as though the bassline is the one consistent frequency friend, holding your hand, and guiding you through the cinematic experience that always seems on the cusp of possibly charting into frightening territory yet never quite reaching that dark of a place. Especially when the vocals emerge to lighten the overall mood. But what do I know? That's just my interpretation. Check out the track/video for yourself and chill….
