Filmmaker, scriptwriter, producer, and actor Scott Pryor gears up for his electrifying debut album in early 2024 as he makes his long-promised move into the world of music.

With awards forthree widely acclaimed films Tulsa, Blackbear, and The List that he helmed and acted in under his belt, Pryor who is the founder and CEO of Pryor Entertainment is set to bring a combination of captivating stage presence and energy that will immerse and engage a range of audiences on his 12-track collection.

Leading us into a profound world of stories about family, pain, love, and loss, the album offers infectious rock musicality swirling around deep core messages. Bolstered by the expertise of world-renowned music producer and songwriter Jan Smith alongside vocal coach Heidi Huelskoetter to find and hone his voice,Pryor continues to pave his way in enticing and passionate ways.

Speaking of the process to develop his sound, he says, “I am grateful for the support and encouragement of my vocal coach, Heidi Huelskoetter, who inspired me on this project. I also want to express my appreciation for the production skills of Jan Smith, who has worked with talented artists like Jesse Owen Astin. Their expertise at Jan's studio brought out the very best in my performance.”

Having been raised in Montana, Wyoming, and then Indiana, Scott spent his early years gaining success on the wrestling mat, winning state championships as a youth. Later, he joined the Marines at 17 before starting third-level education and earning a degree in Finance and Arts. Eventually, Scott went to law school, a decision that led him to start up his practice.

However, the entertainment industry and film making always remained his true love. About his filmmaking, he said, When I returned from the Marine training, I decided to write my scripts and make my movies. I had no idea how to do either one of them. My acting teacher at the time, Steve Coulter, was an accomplished actor and writer. He pointed me in the right direction, and I wrote novels I thought were screenplays making all the rookie mistakes.”

With a writing style that’s crisp yet emotive, Pryor is well on the way to conquering the music world as he has already achieved in film making.
